CLICK HERE TO REGISTERWe looked at many places for DC23 but as the search continued, it became more and more obvious that Michigan had the most to offer for the price. With 10 courses to choose from, there will be meat left on the bone, but with a lot more added leisure and activity time, you can wet your appetite in a variety of ways...
Welcome to Boyne City, Michigan: a place with little noteworthy history but a magnificent beauty and home to 10 incredible golf courses. A place that we will remember forever.
Dudes who arrive earlier in the day have an option to play an Arrival Round at a discounted rate. Let me know if you are interested in that and we can start a group and provide more details depending on interest.
Dudes arriving later will want to get a good night's sleep because the golf comes on hard and fast tomorrow.
Best be ready to swing!
Fly into Traverse City, Michigan anytime on Wednesday, June 7th. Flights here are accessible and will range from $300 to $500 depending on departure city.
Warm up round on the 9 hole Par 3 course after check-in and get a healthy amount of bets and beers flowing as the late arrivals make their way to town.
We'll grab some dinner and drinks around 8pm at the resort and catch up with everyone. DC23 is underway!
After sunset, we can play yard games in the courtyard around the nightly bonfire. They have corn hole set up for those of you who want to lose some money.
Day 1 kicks off with 36 Holes, starting with the Donald Ross Memorial. This is a truly unique course and a great way to start the Dude Cup. Take a look for yourself!
Our second round takes us through the Arthur Hills masterpiece. I mean, just look at this place! Arthur Hills is known to design challenging courses but we're all warmed up and ready for it.
After golf, get washed up and let's get some dinner! There are a few options at the resort or we can take over the town. Tomorrow, golf doesn't start until 1pm so feel free to stay up past your bedtime.
Breakfast buffet at the main dining hall is included every day so make sure to fill up today. You will need it!
7:30am - 8:20 Tee times at Donald Ross Memorial for Round 1. Don't forget to warm up! This course is a collection of the best holes Ross designed from all over the world.
12:30pm - 1:20 Tee times at Arthur Hills out of the same Pro Shop so easy turn around! This is one of the finest courses in all of Michigan.
Who knows where the night will take us but I have a feeling there will be a joint party and early bed time tonight. It's legal in Michigan, don't be paranoid!
Relax! The world is your oyster today. Golf doesn't start until the afternoon so take this opportunity to enjoy the amenities northern Michigan has to offer.
There are multiple pools and hot tubs for chillin' and yard games at the resort. The fishing charters we looked up guarantee you catch fish or the trip is free. Can't beat that!
The afternoon round at Bay Harbor will be insane. It's coming at a premium so make it count with some low scores today!
We'll finish off with some dinner and drinks and let the evening take us where it will.
Did I mention breakfast yet? It's included in your package so fuel up early so you can take advantage of some morning activities on a full belly.
There are several fishing charters we can book. These would be smaller groups of 4 or 5 but we can get multiple charters if needed.
We also have access to boat rentals and could have a party barge race or a backflip contest. We'll be sure to pack the life vests.
1:20pm - 2:10 Tee Times at the Bay Harbor Links/Quarry Course. This track is one of the most insane and picturesque courses I've ever seen. Some call it the Pebble Beach of the Midwest! Check it out!
The final round is here! A later start today will help you party animals get your shit together in time for the highlight round of the trip, The Heather. Here, a champion will be crowned.
After the round, we will wash up and head over to Pond Hill Farm, an actual farm complete with brick oven pizza and it's own brewery. Here we will have our awards ceremony and basically take over their entire property.
Tomorrow is departure day but depending on flight arrangements, there is still a lot to uncover!
Don't forget that yummy yummy breakfast. It's the final showdown; the last day... you'll need it!
10:00am - 10:50 Tee Times at The Heather Course. This course has been awarded the 2019 National Golf Course of the Year and 2018 Michigan Golf Course of the Year. Click here to see why!
Get cleaned up, grab a snack and then we are all piling into the shuttle and heading over to Pond Hill Farms for our Awards Ceremony!
Gotta make the final night count! Let's Party!!!
Though it's a sad day to depart this 2nd annual event, we leave with the excitement of DC24 on the horizon. As you all know by now, the planning starts right away! So make sure you fill out the survey that goes around so we can go bigger and better next year.
A morning hike, mountain biking, perhaps there is time for another round even! No matter what you choose, take this last chance to soak it all in, take some pictures or get your ass beat in corn hole.
See you Dudes next year!
Stock up on calories to cure the hangover or prepare for another day of fun!
For those departing later in the day, there are 6 courses we didn't get to play if anyone is up for a bonus round. The Monument Course looks sick!
Boyne Mountain is in our backyard and the mountain biking experience is supposed to be amazing. They have an actual mountain bike PARK for the bold.
As we start preparing for DC24, we ask all Dudes to participate in our event survey so we can continue making the Dude Cup better every year!
